This early 90’s house was in need of some serious renovation to turn it into a sleek looking modern beach house.  The home was completely stripped back, then shrink wrap was used to protect the site and the work while it was carried out.  The Coast NZ team re-framed all walls and new trusses, with the addition of a new bedroom on the ground floor and the new kitchen above.  Coast NZ worked alongside Blueprint Design to create the home the clients had dreamed of for the past 25 years.  A challenging aspect of the job was getting the old girl all level and square again, the Coast NZ team did an amazing job of this with all the cedar lines matching from top to bottom.  A great show of craftsmanship in all parts of this home.  The outcome was a spacious 4-bedroom home with all the mod cons and style to boot, maximising the sea views with new joinery creating light spacious rooms.
